Jolly Independent! Is our class for pre-school age children ready for the next step and is designed to encourage independent learning. Sessions are held weekly and last for 45 minutes. The children attend independently (adults can catch up in the room next door) thus gaining initial preparation for the giant step of starting “BIG” school. As with all our programmes, class sizes are small and limited to 8-10 children in total. It is the perfect follow on for children who have been to Jolly Toddlers but all children of this age will benefit. The format of classes is very similar to toddler groups in that each half term the children are introduced to a new concept and a new theme. The songs and learning objectives are slightly more challenging and the themes are more drama based but always are an absolute joy to see the children grow in confidence before heading off to big school (the only sad part of our classes!)
