Terms and Conditions - The Jolly Melodies Music Company Yate
Classes are bookable on a termly basis. Your booking is not confirmed until payment has been received. Trial sessions are available to book for the next session available. Trial session dates can be changed subject to availability.
I consent to The Jolly Melodies Music Company contacting me with details of forthcoming classes and events related to my booking as well as important information relating to running of classes such as cancellation notifications, invoicing and re-enrolments. You may unsubscribe from these emails at any time.
Waiting lists/post-trial sessions:
Please complete your booking following a waiting list offer or post trial invitation within 48 hours. After which, if no payment has been received, I will assume you no longer require the space.
If you have to miss a class:
If you can't make one of your sessions during the term due to illness/holiday etc then unfortunately I cannot offer refunds for this due to having to cover my own costs but I do offer some great alternatives for you...
-You may be able to swap to another session I run during the week (see my timetable and pop me a message)
-You can ‘SEND A FRIEND’ to take your spot in class on the day you can't make it (you must let me know in advance, pop me a message/email)
- If you can't attend class due to childcare, you are welcome to bring other children with you to your class (please contact me to let me know in advance where possible)
- You can use the online classes to watch and join in from home. Please ask me for a link to the private Facebook group.
Class cancellations: I will always try my best to give you as much notice as possible of any cancellations however, if it is due to illness then this may be short notice. If classes need to be cancelled, the quickest way for me to contact everyone at once is by email but I will also try to text anyone who may not have seen this.
Notices will also be posted on Facebook so make sure you are following my page if you can.
- If a class is cancelled by the teacher, you will be refunded for the cancelled class or invited to carry over to the following term.
- If classes are cancelled short-term due to temporary circumstances beyond my control, such as a venue issue or bad weather, you will be directed to Zoom online classes or the Facebook online class.
- If the issue is ongoing, such as a Lockdown, classes will continue online with the option of live Zooms or recorded classes with your usual teacher or you will have the option to freeze your class fee until in person classes resume.
- Refunds and credits will be processed at the end of the term. Please allow 5-10 days for monies to appear in your account. If you pay by bank transfer, you will need to provide me with your bank details for me to send the refund and this information will be requested by me. If you pay through class for kids the refund will be sent to the card you paid by.
Important Class Information
- Illness - please do not attend classes if you or your child are unwell with heavy colds, temperatures, chicken pox, Hand Foot and mouth, Impetigo or any other contagious illness. If you aren’t sure then please ask but if in doubt it is best to stay off to limit the spread of germs.
- If you have a little baby, you may wish to bring a small blanket to lay them on during class.
- If your baby needs feeding during the class, please do feel at ease to breastfeed or give them a bottle.
- There is ample parking at Iron Acton but if ever you find the car park is full, please park on the road being careful not to block any entrances.
- Please do not give toddlers food during the session. If other children see your toddler eating food then everyone wants something and this can be very distracting. Additionally, as our classes can be very active, it’s a good idea not to have anything in mouths for safety.
Photos and social media
When you registered for classes, you will have approved or denied permission for photos to be used on social media. Please ensure this is up to date so we know your preference. We do not have permission for everyone’s photo to be taken/shared in class so please only take photos/videos of your own child. If other children/adults do ever appear in your photos, even in the background, please do not share these on social media unless you have the other person’s permission.
We often don’t have time to take any photos ourselves as we are so busy leading the class so we always appreciate any special moments captured by parents! Please do send them across to us if you are happy for us to use them on our social media pages. You can also tag us in your posts and stories on Facebook and Instagram. Thank you!
